Terms of Service

Version 1.1 — Effective February 24, 2026

1. Nature of Service

Point1 is a financial information and analysis platform powered by artificial intelligence. Point1 provides educational content and personalized insights to help you understand your financial picture.

Point1 is NOT a registered investment advisor, certified public accountant, licensed financial planner, or fiduciary. Nothing on this platform constitutes investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security.

2. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. While Point1 provides analysis and insights, you should:

  • ·Consult qualified professionals for investment, tax, and legal decisions
  • ·Verify any information provided by Point1 before acting on it
  • ·Understand that AI-generated insights may contain errors or be based on incomplete data
  • ·Not rely on Point1 as your sole source of financial guidance

3. AI Limitations

Point1 is powered by Claude, an AI model built by Anthropic. Your financial data is sent to Anthropic's API to generate personalized analysis and conversation responses. AI responses are generated based on the data available at the time of your request and may not reflect real-time market conditions. Claude's underlying model has a training data cutoff date, meaning its general knowledge may not include very recent events or changes in regulations. You acknowledge that:

  • ·AI may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information
  • ·AI analysis is not a substitute for professional financial advice
  • ·Market conditions change rapidly and AI predictions are inherently uncertain
  • ·AI responses are generated based on available data and may not reflect real-time conditions
  • ·The AI model has a training cutoff date and may lack awareness of very recent events
  • ·Tax calculations are estimates and should be verified by a qualified tax professional
  • ·Past performance data and projections do not guarantee future results

4. Data Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of financial data you provide to Point1. The quality of our analysis depends on the accuracy of your inputs. Point1 does not independently verify the data you enter.

5. Account & Access

By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information and maintain the security of your credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use Point1. You may not share your account with others.

6. Service Availability

Point1 is currently in beta. We make no guarantees regarding:

  • ·Uptime or availability of the service
  • ·Continuity of specific features
  • ·Response time of AI agents
  • ·Accuracy of real-time market data

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time during the beta period.

7. Subscription & Billing

Point1 offers a free tier with limited features and two paid plans: Plus ($29/month) and Pro ($49/month). All new users receive a 14-day free trial with full Pro access. No credit card is required to start the trial. After the trial period, your account will automatically downgrade to the Free tier unless you subscribe to a paid plan. By subscribing to a paid plan:

  • ·You authorize recurring monthly charges at the stated rate ($29/mo for Plus, $49/mo for Pro)
  • ·You may cancel at any time — access continues through the current billing period
  • ·No credit card is required to begin your 14-day free trial
  • ·After the trial ends, your account automatically downgrades to Free if no plan is selected
  • ·Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis during the beta period

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You can delete your account via Settings → Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • ·Violate these terms
  • ·Engage in abusive or fraudulent activity
  • ·Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the service

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Point1 and its operators shall not be liable for any financial losses, damages, or decisions made based on information provided by the service. This includes losses from:

  • ·Investment decisions influenced by Point1 analysis
  • ·Tax filing errors based on Point1 estimates
  • ·Service interruptions or data loss
  • ·Errors in AI-generated content

10. Third-Party Services

Point1 relies on the following third-party services to deliver its features. Your use of Point1 is also subject to these providers' respective terms of service.

  • ·Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI-powered financial analysis and conversation
  • ·Supabase — Account authentication and secure data storage
  • ·Stripe — Payment processing for subscriptions
  • ·Tiingo — Real-time and historical market data
  • ·ElevenLabs — Text-to-speech for voice features
  • ·OpenAI — Text embeddings for knowledge base search (not used for conversation)
  • ·FRED (Federal Reserve Economic Data) — Economic data including rates, inflation, and yields
  • ·SEC EDGAR — Public company filings and insider transactions
  • ·Plaid — Bank account linking (future feature, not yet active)

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We track which version of the terms each user has consented to.
